Attendance & Shifts questions
What ways can employees mark attendance in MaverickHR?
A check-in button on the web and in the Android and iOS apps with GPS and selfie, rotating site QR codes, personal QR cards, and face-verified check-in on a shared kiosk tablet. Managers can also enter attendance, and employees can request corrections.
Can we stop people from punching from home?
Yes. Set location check to Strict and punches outside the allowed place are refused. Lenient mode allows them but flags them for a manager, and per-employee locations let you approve specific places such as a client site.
Does MaverickHR support night shifts and rotating rosters?
Yes. Shifts can cross midnight and carry a night-pay flag, and rotation patterns repeat any sequence of shifts. Single-day overrides, employee, department and branch rules decide which shift applies on each day.
